Cabin Rental Policy & Procedure
We are excited for you to stay in our cabin! We have policies and procedures in place to help us maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for all of our guests. Please read, review, and sign the following agreement to book your reservation!
***How Covid-19 Has Changed Our Policies and Procedures***
At Restoration Retreat, we believe that during these particularly stressful times, it is of upmost importance to set aside time to rest, relax and restore our sense of well-being. As we have all faced isolation and a “new normal”, just a short (or long!) getaway and change of scenery may be exactly what is needed for a bit of “restoration”.
We are closely monitoring the situation as it is fluid and changes almost daily. We are strictly following CDC guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing the cabin. We want you to be able to focus on enjoying your stay and want you to feel safe and secure knowing that we are taking every measure possible to keep you and your loved ones safe and healthy!
The minimum age requirement required to make a reservation is 25 years old. Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of signed rental agreement and 50% down payment. Payment for the other half of your reservation is due no less than 30 days before check-in.
Confirmation of the reservation will be e-mailed to the guest(s) upon receipt of the reservation advance payment. Please review the confirmation for accuracy of dates, mailing address, fees, and number of adults and children who will occupy the cabin. Occupancy is limited to guests only. Additional guests and visitors spending the night must be approved by agent(s) in advance. Each child 4 years and older is qualified as one guest. The cabin accommodates 6 guests, however there is a $10.00 charge per person per night for more than 4 guests. If you have more than 6 guests, you must obtain permission from agent(s). With prior authorization, you may rent blow up mattress(es) and bedding from Restoration Retreat for $12.00 per night. Please note that the physical address and entry key code of the cabin will be provided to you upon full receipt of payment.
Check-in is at 4:00pm. Please note that early check in is not permitted unless it is approved ahead of time. If approved, a fee may be assessed at the agent’s discretion. Unapproved early check-ins will be charged $100.
The check-out time is 11:00am. Please understand that housekeeping needs to be done thoroughly before the check-in of our next guests, which can occur the same day as your check-out. Please lock the door via your keypad as you leave. Unless prior arrangements are made in writing with agent, guests that do not vacate the cabin by 11:00am will be assessed a fee equal to the rental rate of one night. You will be charged the rate for that particular date, so if the rates are higher or lower, you will be charged accordingly.
This cabin is individually owned, furnished, and maintained. We make every attempt to under sell and over deliver our property, however, your ideas may differ from our’s may on any given detail. We will not give refunds or adjustments if it does not meet your idea of the property. This cabin is clean and furnished to the agent’s taste. Rates, descriptions, inventories, furnishings, and decorations are subject to change without notice. The rental agent/owner will not be obligated to provide replacements or give refunds for failure or absence of any item.
While we are lovers of all animals, we are unable to allow any pet(s) except for dogs. We welcome up to two dogs that are 50 pounds or less. Larger dogs must be approved by agent prior to booking. Your dog(s) must be crated when you are not in the cabin. Pet sitting is offered at an additional fee and must be arranged prior to your stay. No dogs on beds, please. If your dog(s) is/are inclined to get on the couch, we provide couch covers and kindly ask that you cover the couches upon arrival to protect furniture. We encourage you to roam about the grounds with your dog(s), however, ALL dogs MUST be leashed. No exceptions! This is for the safety and well-being of other guests on the property as well as your pet(s). We also ask that you clean up after your dog(s). A scoop, bags, and gloves are provided in the closet for your convenience. Scoop can be sanitized and sprayed off at the hose just outside the cabin.
Guest(s) are required to leave the cabin and property in the same general condition as it was upon arrival. Dishes should be cleaned and put away. Towels should be gathered and placed into the bathtub, but it is not necessary to remove bedding. We also ask that all garbage be gathered and placed into the garbage can behind the cabin. Agent is responsible for dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and washing all bedroom and bathroom linens upon your departure. If additional cleaning is required, appropriate fees will be charged. Guest(s) is responsible for any damage, abuse, excessive cleanup requirements, or loss caused by any member of guest’s party to the property or it’s contents during guest occupancy. The property will be inspected upon your departure to ensure that it is left in acceptable order. Agent will make the final determination of the necessity to charge for any damage or extra cleaning. We fully understand that accidents happen and we will make our determination of charges based on all details, including accidents or mishaps. We ask that you communicate these incidents to us so that we are aware of the situation prior to your departure.
Cleaning arrangements during your stay can be arranged for an extra fee. We are proud of the housekeeping services provided and always attempt to maintain an overly clean and sanitary environment. However, mistakes may be made (We are human too!) or perhaps something could be overlooked. If you are not completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the cabin, we ask that you notify the agent(s) immediately upon arrival so that this can be remedied. If you find something unacceptable well after your check-in, we still ask that you reach out at that time. We want to exceed your expectations during your stay and ask for you to communicate any complaints to us right away.

We work diligently to keep the grounds clean and we ask for your assistance in doing so.
Garbage may be placed in the garbage can behind the cabin. Please leave the lid on the can at all times so that we don’t attract any unwanted “visitors”. If your garbage can is more than half-way full during your stay, please notify us so that we can empty it before it is full. If we are not notified and you are unable to fasten the lid, you will be charged for clean-up of any garbage scattered by wildlife or nature.
